Pay Talks Procedure

Hi everyone. This poll is to give the reps advice on what you want us to do regarding pay talks procedure. The company has suggested that they want to conclude all pay talks within 12 weeks going forward and if we can't agree at the end of those 12 weeks then they want the negotiation passed to ACAS (ACAS are a government funded working rights advice and mediator). The reps and your union think this is a terrible idea - because if claims are referred to ACAS then we lose the ability to threaten or take industrial action of most kinds. In addition to this we can't negotiate with ACAS - they will impose whatever they see fit. The reps would like you to vote to continue with the current procedure and NOT to vote to adopt the company procedure on these grounds.
